Acceptance and scope
You agree to these terms when you use BotCreator. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
BotCreator is an independent tool for building and managing bots for Yapin/Yapper. It is not Discord, and it is not operated by Yapin/Yapper unless explicitly stated. Platform APIs and policies may change independently.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the bots you create, the commands and actions you configure, and complying with applicable law and the platform’s rules. Do not use bots for spam, harassment, unauthorized access, or harmful activity.
Tokens and security
Treat bot tokens like passwords. BotCreator stores tokens encrypted on the server, but you remain responsible for who can access your device, server, backups, and account. Revoke a token at the platform if you believe it has been exposed.
AI features
When you use AI features, prompts and relevant bot configuration may be sent to the AI provider configured by the server operator. AI output can be inaccurate; review changes before relying on them.
Availability and changes
BotCreator may be unavailable, and features may change as Yapin/Yapper APIs or dependencies change. No uninterrupted availability is guaranteed.
Sessions and inactive accounts
For security, your BotCreator session expires after 90 days. While you actively use BotCreator, the session expiry is renewed; after 90 days without activity, you will need to sign in again. An account that has had no activity on BotCreator for 365 consecutive days (one year) may be automatically deleted. Account activity means signing in or using authenticated BotCreator features. When an account is deleted under this rule, its bots, configurations and associated stored data are also deleted. You can delete your account earlier from the account settings.
Advertising
BotCreator may display banner advertisements in the application, including while using the command editor. Advertisements are managed by the service operator. A banner may include an optional link to an external website. You are not required to click or interact with advertisements to use the core bot-building features.
Third-party services
BotCreator relies on third-party platforms and services, including Yapper/Yapin for sign-in and bot connectivity and, when enabled, an AI provider. Those services are governed by their own terms and policies. BotCreator is not responsible for external websites or services you choose to visit.
